I have an application that creates custom PDFs for users.  Today, one
of my customers emailed me a PDF and said the search wasn't working as
it should.

For example, the word PUMP is throughout the report.  But if you
search for it, it only finds some of them.

The ones it skips it will find if you type P U M P into the search
(spaces between each letter)

It's not just this word either, it's other words as well.  It's
inconsistent, and when viewing the PDF in a text editor, the text is
exactly the same for each instance of the word.

Anyone ran into similar issues?  I'd like to say its an issue with
Reader, as I've tested it using other viewers (Evince Document Viewer
on Ubuntu for example) and it found everything as it should using the
search.

I've tested this with AR 7.0 and 8.0 and the same issue exists.
