hi-
i want to manually uninstall my adobe reader 7.0. and i am using the
instructions from the adobe website
(ie. http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=kb400728).
they say you should work in diagnostic/safe mode but when i select it in
system config, i get the following error:

"an access denied error was returned while attempting to change a
service. you may need to log on using an administrator account to make
specified changes."

i only have one user account on my computer and it has administrative
rights. so.......what to do?

any suggestions? thanks.
