I've had Adobe Reader 8.1.1 on my machine since it came out and experienced no problems with it until yesterday when I was attempting to print some stuff using Avery templates. Everything seemed to go to hell in a handbasket - it would not print so after several abortive attempts, I decided to reload it. Whoa!! bad idea!! I did not delete the earlier one, so it woulld not load. Then when I tried to delete it all and start over, it won't let me delete it!! Says the update, installed in November '07 cannot be removed, and the original "patch" may not be valid, and won't let me do anything!! I am running Windows XP and loaded Office 07 in January 08. Has anyone had any problems with compatibility with these programs and Avery,?? I'm going to try to ty a "System Restore", but I guess if I run that to a date prior to my installation of MS Office 07 I will haveto re-install it. Right?? Big John
