To Leonard Rosenthol: i do not know how the file is opened?i just use the AVAppGetActiveDoc to get the AVDoc object, and then use the AVDocGetPDDoc to get thd PDDoc object throught the AVDoc object, and then operate the doc use the PDDoc object, and then save it. at last i should close the doc and the window not the acrobat process ,want to move the file to another position, but all failed which said the file is open by another process.

Then if you started with an AVDoc - you should NEVER close the PDDoc. Also, if you didn't open the document, why would the user expect that you would be closing it?
