This is currently alarming in IPmonitor and running an nslookup off it =
is timing out.

It seems to be a little unresponsive at the moment so Trevor is off to =
run some diagnostics directly on the server.

This should have no customer impacts, this acts as our authorative =
nameserver for domains and requests should be directed to the secondary =
DNS instead, which is responding fine at the moment.

I called the TBHD for an update on this issue seeing as we have since =
seen services restored but no official communication to indicate the =
fault has since been restored.

It seems the broken fibre cable was repaired at 11:12am (EST apparently) =
and from what we have seen our customers who were impacted by this have =
since reconnected.

If you spoke to one of these customers yesterday it might be worth =
giving them a follow up courtesy call to ensure they have reconnected =
ok.
