I've been searching for a way to use an excel or word doc file as data for After Effects to call within a render. Basically, I've got a master animation which needs localization into 50 languages. Instead of manually replacing the text, i was looking for a way to use an excel doc with all the languages and link it within AE. So all I would really have to do is point AE to the language I would like to render and it would replace "thank you" with "gracias", etc. I've seen digital anarchy's data animator and boris/toolfarm's graffiti plugins, but am not sure they'd do what I'm needing as they seem to deal with calling external data merely for the use of creating graphs and charts. Any ideas??
