It doesn't seem any of the CS3 DemoPalette scripts work with CS4. Can anyone verify this?

Are you finding that the After Effects CS4 Demo Palette works with After Effects CS4?

The demonstration scripts were moved around and streamlined for After Effects CS4, so I wouldn't be surprised if trying to use the CS3 version in After Effects CS4 failed because of a missing dependency or a broken path.

Yes, the included "Demo Palette" that ships with CS4 works fine. But the "DemoPalette" that comes with CS3 doesn't work. It's a shame, because there are some really useful CS3 scripts that were removed in the CS4 version.

Such as? If you tell me what you're missing, then I bet that I can point you to a better solution.

BTW, the individual scripts that are called from the old palette still work. (I just tried most of them.) It's just that the connection between the old palette and the scripts is broken if you try to run the old palette in the CS4 context without also transferring the called scripts, too. So, if you really want to use one of these old scripts, you can run it by itself without using the old palette script.
