Watch Folder Network Render - Post Render Actions

Can anyone help me out the with process of setting up post-render items for Watched Folder rendering with the network render engines?

I can get renders to png sequences quite easily.

The setup is 4 Mac Minis (don't laugh, for half the price they perform equal to a new 2.9ghz Mac Pro together in AE). There is a NAS they are reading the files from. Getting the png sequence is easy as cake, and quite fast.

However, I want to automate making a .mov. I know multiple computers can render to a single mov, but having the four of them render the movie to pngs, then one of them taking over putting those in a mov is fine and is what I want to do. It seems possible in the documentation (mentioned more than once to do this)

In practice though, no matter what, one machine tries to start the mov file before the pngs are done... so it errors out. Running the render locally, it works... collecting with that same render queue and droping in the watched folder gives me just the pngs, with one erroring on the mov part.

Since the official docs say that this process works, I assume im missing a detail... but the docs are about as vague as they could possibly be when talking about post-render actions... can anyone outline the setup for me?
