hi, I mede a intro page for website with after effetcs.(I was gonna exported to swf.) anyway, I made some graphic in Photoshop, and saved as gif(because when I previewed it on "save for web window, the background was transparent). 

but when i import those image(gif) to After Effects, the background is white. not transparent.  I've tried jpg, and PNG. but still,  the background is white. 

I am gonna put this on the web, so i dont want to use psd.  

what should I do in order to down the file size? please help me out! 

by the way, I am using OS 9.2, Photoshop7, AfterEffect5.5
