OSX crashes on render end

AE has crashed on my new system repeatably at the end of the rendering (closing the file hangs). 

I have a Dual 1Ghz G4/1.5Gb RAM and an ACARD RAID card 

Is this unique to my configuration (OSX is still stable after the crash) and if it is, is there a solution.
