On cool edit pro ver 2.0. I'm able to move my cue (yellow cursor) on any single selected track, on the multi track screen, I can drop and drag (highlite) specific portions of each track as well. On Adobe Audition, I cannot select even a certain area of any cut, on the multi-track screen, nor can I drop & drag (highlight). All attempts to figure it out have been futile. ANY SUGGESTIONS??

I think it was 1.5 where they introduced different cursor modes. I think this is to make the UI more consistent with the adobe video products. In any case, make sure you are using the HYBRID cursor (hotkey: R) and things should work the way you expect them to.

Heh, I always forget that solution, having set it and forgotten it.
