Hello Mike; There are several ways of extracting audio from Video that I use from time to time but the method depends on how you are attempting to capture the DVD and what you intend to do with the audio. If you only want the audio there are plenty of free extractors available on the net. or you can use Nero to extract just audio. If you want to edit the audio of a Video in AA,the video should be either Type 2 AVI(DV) this is NOT AVI.or Windows Media so you can put it back into the Video. Audio in a DVD is 48000 x 16 bit. If you don't own Nero I think you should buy a copy.and then look back in the forum posts to where I have explained in detail, how to extract audio from Video using Nero, edit in AA and then export your edited file back into your Video . Google for Audio Video Interleave, select Wikipedia and read DV AVI then in this forum go back to Recording Video in Real Time and read my post. Kind Regards Bill Lane.
