I began using Adobe 1.0 in 2003 and shortly found it was over my head, but persevered.

I found some degree of success and used it for making several hypnosis cds.

I never understood most of the applications and kept losing track of files and sounds and ... such.

Now it is 2008 and I wanted to get back in the game and have forgotten most if not all; of what I learned.

First, is there a way to install a desktop short cut?

Next, I had difficulty with all the work being done on my PC.
I even bent the microphone jack using the wrong system.

I was looking at the MARANTZ CDR420 MP3/CD RECORDER unit, but I havent a clue what to do or what I need.

I know this may sound mundane and stupid to the adept users of these Adobe versions, however I am trying.

Is there a better upgrade for a novice like me or would I become even more confused?

I will probably have to use this forum allot more when refreshing my hidden memory. lol

Thanks, Dave
