Thx Eric, Here is the problem we are recording a church sermon. Immeditely after the church service we are putting the sermon on a CD with other prerecord which have a somewhat standard volume. So we do not have time to tweek it too much. The big problem is that the sermon volume recorded is very low so clipping is not an issue at all. What I really want is to select the 4 tracks and QUICKLY make them all the same perceived loudness. What do I want normalization? compression? what should I be reading about?
