How to transfer effects to new computer?

Recently we got a new computer at work and I found how to transfer over settings and scripts in Audition 1.5, but I can't find how to transfer over effects. We had a couple of effects we used all the time, but they were from plug ins. I don't know if they were VST effects or if it was Direct X effect (or other if that's possible). The former production guy is the one that "installed" the effects so we have no idea where he got them from. There must be a way for me to transfer the effects/plug ins to the new computer, so how do I do it?
