I have an M-Audio Fast Track Pro Soundcard along with a Rode NT1-A Mic. The Soundcard is showing a signal when I talk into the mic, but the vocals do not pick up in Adobe. Vista is my operating system and I downloaded the latest driver for the M-Audio Fast Track Pro. I feel like I have made the correct adjustments in the recording setting (device properties/device options)tab of cool edit, but apparently there is something I am not doing correctly. The mic is brand new and the sound card worked in a previous recording session a couple months prior - i know it has to be a software/settings issue - if anyone has a solution it would help me out a lot! thanks.
