Hi, I landed here because I Googled "Headerless Raw Data". I don't know if anyone uses this site anymore as obviously these are old postings and CE2k is gone unfortunately. I feel like Captain Kirk finding an old Enterprise.
Prior to last week my only experience with this problem was when I occasionally download a music file and upon trying to work with it in CE2k what's been described here occurred.
That was only a minor annoyance and I deleted the file and got another one. This time 18 of my music files were involved. I had done a mix in Mixmeister and decided to organize the files in a folder and burn a disc with the tracks. The files in a mix are linked together. I then made a folder and highlighted the files and moved them all at once. after, I discovered that they were all headerless raw data. Very weird!
