I need advise with noise reduction and normalize. Most times I have better results if I do noise reduction first, and then normalize. However, sometimes the effects are not so good so I normalize first, and then do noise reduction. All my projects are strictly lectures. One person at the microphone giving a lecture, presentation. Different years ; different conditions. Thus my need to switch from noise to normalize , normalize to noise. Is there a solid rule on this? Usually I do noise reduction, hiss reduction, normalize 98%, and finally VST MultibandCompressor. I'm learning ; and am gradually getting better using Audition. I need to refine the approach so that I can achive consistancy. Thanks
