We have Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Premium and installed only the Photoshop application on a new MacBook Pro. It is an upgrade version. We entered the serial number on the box. They then asked for information on the previous version since it was not found on the computer. The previous version was on a different computer. It asked for the name and serial number of the previous version. We entered Creative Suite 2 Standard and the serial number found on that box. It said the serial number did not match the product. I'm confused because that product was one of the ones listed on the drop down list. Is it possible that because we entered only Photoshop on the new application that it was looking for a Photoshop serial number not a Creative Suite number? If we were to install the entire Creative Suite 3, would it then recognize the serial number from Creative Suite 2?
