I have had the same problem.
Installed Photoshop CS3.

Went to install my CS3 Design Premium & just after it starts installing it asks me to insert After Effects CS4 disk. First of all I have no CS4 products on this desktop (recently purchased & am installing my software---but I have purchased AE CS4 online but have not installed & it's no where on this computer). Also, since I bought the software online I don't have a CD to insert if I wanted to (downloaded software).

I ran CS4 Cleanup Utility to make sure there weren't any weird CS4 items on desktop. Nothing.

Yet I still am being asked to install CS4 cd. Why would it ask me to install a newer version if it hasn't yet installed CS3??

I spoke with Adobe & they would only help me if I paid. Spent more time being switched around.

Any ideas?
