When I was working in prepress CD files were my biggest nightmare. Mostly because they were created by idiots who didn't have a clue about printing. I had to go in and fix everything in Illy because of the horrible UI in CD. but thats my experience. I'm not a big illy guy either but it has always been more intuitive to me.
