CS3, Tiger. We Export to a 1.3 PDF from InDesign CS3. We repurpose these to SWF files for eBooks. We are seeing Ghost text -- looks like an offset duplication of text. It's happening when we place an Illustrator CS3 file into InDesign that has text on the 2nd from the top layer (top layer is turned OFF). Very annying, as I would think Export to PDF would be the way to go. To fix this, we have to use PitStop's "remove invisible data" command. (the extra data is visible within PitStop, and even Acrobat when "select all" is selected. When we Distill the files, we don't get this problem. What is the purpose of these duplicated regions that mess up our conversion to SWF? We have to have text in the Illustrator file for various workflow reasons.
