I crashed a week ago. hard drive died. I am on my the other hard drive now and tried to install my cs2 I bought. It will not let me install it. it is greyed out accept the version cue is checked to install, rest is greyed out. There is no more support at adobe for this. I have a screen capture of the error message. I am on tiger, it ran for years fine, and have tried 4 times to install. I finally erased the whole hard drive, reinstall Tiger upgraded it, and it still will not allow to install it and still greyed out. I am frustrated, and am down now and I am a printing company and need this up for my business.

Sky,
There is no more support at adobe for this
There is no "free" support for this, unless someone in the forums has an idea. But I believe that if you are willing to pay for IT, Adobe can help with this version of Photoshop.
On the other hand, as a printing company, why not simply upgrade to CS4? -- that would make you more compatible with your customers.
Neil

sounds like you have the apps installed somewhere on a connected drive.

sky, If Buko's nailed it, know that Adobe applications should be installed on the startup drive, in the Applications folder, without renaming or moving for fewest problems. Neil

CS2 will not install if you have a backup of your system drive and the installer sees it hooked up to the computer. This is what I was referring to.

to uninstall CS2 put it in the trash and delete. Only CS3 and CS4 need uninstallers.
