Hi, I'm trying to uninstall Creative Suite CS3. I'm following the instructions, going to Adobe utilities and opening Add or Remove Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Premium. I put in my password when asked for it and then the program quits. What's going on? How can i uninstall?

No, this is an administrative procedure on your computer.

[Apple icon] --> System Preferences... --> System/Accounts --> + [add account].

Create an account with Admin privileges.

Yes, thanks Neil, that's what I did. However, the same thing happened. Then I noticed that the utility was an alias. Anyone know where the original is stored? That might be the issue. Thanks.

Geralyn,

If the alias is not linked to a file, you'll get no response. If you wish to check that, highlight the alias and press Command-R (Show Original). If properly linked, you'll know in a moment.

OK, so I downloaded CS3 cleanscript and when i open the app, it opens and shuts immediately. there's some voodoo at play here. any other suggestions?

your system is screwed up.

I would do an Archive and install of the system.
