Can someone give me an explanation for the trap preset option in InDesign CS4 This option was not in InDesign CS2 or 3. The default for Black is overprint and everything else is set to knockout so why would anyone want to set a trap preset? What exactly does it do to the PDF once created?

Adobe Support said that a user may want to use the trap preset option to manually set and apply trap, for a special effect on images and objects, making it larger or smaller than the default trap settings automatically applied within the program.

Wrong!
Its there,
CS3 window > output > trap presets
CS2 window > output > trap presets
CS window > trap presets
