"Component install failed" with installed Flash CS3

Did a clean install of CS3 without Flash, but find that I need to use it now. Any attempt to install now just leaves me with a "Component install failed" after 20+ mins install. Extremely frustrating. I see this in the Console.app: [0x0-0x148148].com.adobe.Installers.Setup hdiutil: attach failed - codec overrun Thoughts?

You may need to uninstall the whole suite then reinstall the suite with Flash this time. You shouldn't need to do that but I have always installed all components as that seemsed the best way to do things.

Well I uninstalled the whole suite, and then reinstalled and received THE SAME ERROR. What the heck is going on?

Albo, What OS? How did you uninstall the Suite? Did you download and run Cleanscript for CS3? Did you repair permissions/run DiskWarrior? Did you reinstall from the original media or download? Neil

� OS 10.5.6 � Uninstalled from the original installer disc. � Cleanscript = yes � DiskWarrior = no � Original media install. Did the procedure again, same thing.
