Hi Peter,this sounds like your CS4ServiceManager database or cache is corrupted.
Please try this:
1. in Drive, disconnect and go to the options link and empty the cache.
Restart machine.
Try to connect again.
See if all files are there now.

2. CAUTION: DO THIS ONLY IF NOTHING ELSE HELPS! LOCALLY SAVED AND NOT YET CHECKED-IN FILES WILL BE GONE!
delete CS4ServiceManager folder in
MAC = users/"username"/Library/ApplicationSupport/Adobe/ ;
WIN = XP = c:\Documents and Settings\"accountname here"AppData\Adobe\
VISTA = c:\Users\"accountname here"AppData\Roaming\Adobe\
This will delete all your NOT CHECKED IN FILES and you get lost of that data! Your login credentials as well as your recent server entries in Drive panel will be gone too and have to be re-entered.
If the folder cannot be deleted, exit the CS4ServiceManager in Mac=Activity Monitor, WIN= Taskmanager before. Or be patient: the CS4ServiceManager will exit itself after 5 idle minutes.

Hope that helps.

Markus
