Unable to save Version Cue CS3 password to keychain

Every time I connect to my Version Cue server, whether I'm connecting from Bridge or one of the other CS3 applications, I am prompted for a password. Even if I check "Add to keychain," the password is never remembered -- I am prompted for it every time.

I have tried repairing my keychain, and I even went so far as to completely reset my keychain. I do not believe the problem is the keychain itself, as I have been able to save other passwords for other applications, web sites, and file servers. I was also able to save the password when connecting via WebDAV.

The keychain entry that is saved to my keychain, according to Keychain Access, has the oh-so-informative name of 4b1a0024-15e2-1f6f-aaa6-9327bf48cb3f . When I log out of the server, this item disappears from the keychain. Is this normal behavior? And if so, what's the point of adding the item to the keychain if it doesn't remember the password?
