You aren't the only one who has had this problem, as described by the top line of the exception trace. I had one project that I could not backup late 2007 or early 2008. I was able to recreate the project (in part) from and export, but all previous file versions were lost. Version Control software that doesn't preserve versions is just a file organizer - nearly useless.

The same problem has resurfaced for the same project in the past week. Without a real solution to fix the defective backup process, I plan to do the following:

1) Leave the original project in place so we have access to prior versions.
2) Create a fresh project from the export and begin using it for new file versions.
