Yikes, I really need some help with this. I can't find where any of the files are located that version cue changes. My server crashed and so I had to do a fresh install and then pull certain things from my Time Machine backups.

I don't know where the Version Cue graphics are? I know that probably sounds stupid...but I've looked for the last hour.

Anyone that could help...I would REALLY appreciate it.

thanks!

Here's an update: I copied everything over from a time machine backup. The users are now in there....but none of the projects nor files are.

Any ideas?

More findings....

Found out the stuff is in the /data/content folder....but the files are in text versions. Any quick way to convert? Can't get it to work in version cue.

Hi, please do NOT try to access the content located under the /data/content folder in any case. This is VC Server private database data and also the storage of the content in original and DIFF form. IN order to use the VC Server again, please make sure to restore the whole content under /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe Version Cue CS4/Server and start your VC Server again. After the VC Server started up, you should be able to access your server from any client as usual. You can then chosse to copy a project from within your CS4 client or you can use the admin UI of the VC Server and choose "Export project..." in which case you can export the most recent version of a project to a location of your choice.

Ok yeh I tried that. Also, I am on VC3.

When I restore everything to that folder, the server doesn't start up at first. However, I tried it early yesterday and it did start up, but nothing was in the db. (i.e. users weren't the same, projects weren't there....just a blank server)
