I've tried all the suggestions on the support site for this error and the software still will not launch. I have reinstalled the software 5 or more times. I'm on a Macbook Pro running OS 10.5, and there is 3Gb of RAM and enough disk space. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Maureen, can you elaborate a bit more on which component of CS4 crashes? Is it the VC Server, or Adobe Drive?

I am having the same error and it started occurring after i re-installed my system from a time machine back up. The error pops up at the start of any adobe cs4 product that requires a license to use (flash, photoshop, fireworks, etc.) I think it is a registration error, but am unsure how to correct it myself.

I'm experiencing a similar problem. I've just installed VC CS4 on a G5 Xserve that has VC CS2 installed. No matter what I tried, I absolutely could not get VC CS3 installed, so I skipped to CS4. It installed fine, and the system preference pane appears correctly, but as soon as I click on it to launch and edit the preferences (for example, to turn it on), system preferences does the weirdest thing. It doesn't crash, but the window disappears, then re-appears with the default view of all system preference icons. I cannot get into this preference pane. On the side, I've been slowly upgrading 4 years worth of VC CS2 projects to VC CS3 and then CS4 on a different machine that I was able to install all 3 on, and then need to migrate them back to this production server once I'm done, but if I can't get CS4 working, I'm going to have to uninstall everything and then re-install, which isn't what I want to do.

This is exactly what happened to me. I've tried uninstalling it, using the Cleanup Utility found on the Adobe website, but that didn't pick anything up. Out of ideas, and I really need to get Il working again.

I found a fix. If you look on their site here: http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/licensing_download_eula.html You can download the Licensing Repair tool. That fixed it for me. I ran it with all of my Adobe programs uninstalled, and when I went to install them again, everything worked fine. I don't think you need to do it that way, but it worked for me. Good luck.

Hi tlj8888, can you please describe your problem in some more details? Is that about Version Cue / Drive or the Creative Suite? Thanks Markus

Hi Markus It's the Creative Suite (CS4). As soon as I open up a program (i.e. Dreamweaver), a window pops up saying I need to restart and to call my administrator or support person and mention a 150:30 error code?

Hi tlj8888, this seems not to be a Version Cue related problem. Did you call the customer support hotline? It sounds like something with your installation of the suite did fail. This is the Macintosh > Version Cue related part of the forum. Maybe a search in other parts of the forum will bring you closer to a solution? Try this: <http://www.adobeforums.com/webx/.2ccd8a3f/> Markus

I solved my 150:30 problem by downloading a license recovery scrip. I had used a program called trim the fat for my mac and it reeked havoc on my registry so I downloaded this program from Adobe and it fixed everything. http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/licensing.html That's the link, maybe I shouldn't say this but it doesn't matter if you use it on a legit program or not, it fixes the problem. I would try it first before rooting through system files. I wasn't sure how easy it would be to fix but the script pulled me through. Hope this helps.
