Or worse, if youre working in Premiere Pro and you check-in an entire project folder, then close Premiere, for some reason it deletes the server version in favour of the local version. Of course, you dont realize this until you reboot your computer and find that Adobe Drive wont connect (as it fails to do about 75% of the time), so when you go through the process of deleting the cache and rebooting again to connect, and find that the project file you spend the whole day working on is no longer there. Luckily Premiere has backups, however Dreamweaver and other programs do not, so although I was lucky with Premiere, one of our team members wasnt so lucky when his Drive disconnected randomly while he was working and he lost an entire days worth of stuff he hadnt yet checked in.

A lesser man would then be forced to throw his computer out the window and go off and live in the woods, but instead we just decided to dismantle Version Cue and move over to a simple networked drive until we can find a better option than the catastrophic mess that is VC4.

Thank you Adobe, thank you for the WEEKS of wasted time we've spent on Version Cue 4 (both redoing lost work and trying to make VC actually work).
