Test (simulation of bad connection with server): - I open a file and make its changes; - I stop VC server; - I try to save my work. I cannot save file until the connection will repairs!!! In CS3 this test pass--"Save" command save a local copy. I think in CS4 "Save" command must save the file in local cache but it's not so.

Hi denis-gr, the local cache is only available as long as the server is connected. Adobe Drive acts like an external drive even though the server runs locally. There are no more local copies (real files) like it was in CS2 and CS3. If you disconnect while having a file open that is managed, you should do a" save as" and check the file in later as a version if the sever is back up and running again. But make sure that the managed file on the mounted volume is checked out before you replace it! If not the original and managed file will be completely replaced without versions! Markus

I understand this but I think it's not good. Absence of comfortable work with offline files is big disadvantage.
