Adobe Drive - The server could not be connected

I'm having a lot of troubles connecting to our local version cue server. We have 2 PCs which connect to the server, one works fine, the other keeps giving the error "The server could not be connected".

I've tried following all the online troubleshooting help (deleting/checking log files, testing network connection, restarting both boxes) but nothing is working.

In adobe drive the server shows up, if I hover the mouse over it, it shows the URL (versioncue://VersionCue.local.:3703) and says the server is online, so it appears to see it, but cannot connect.

Any ideas?

Hi Oliver, it looks like your VC Server is running on Mac and is using a .local Bonjour name. Can you please try try to contact to that server directly by entering the IP address in the connect manually dialog?

Additionally it may be a good idea to go to the servers admin page, there to "Advanced" tab and then clicking on "Preferences". There you can set an "External URL". Use the hosts IP there lead by "http://" and in the port field enter "3703".
That may help too.

I reinstalled it in the end, and all seems to be working fine now. It's now using the 4.0 rather than the 4.01.

Thanks for the help though, much appreciated.
