hi there, thanx for raising your hand. for one of our customers, we have to evaluate the use of ags. we are aware of its capabilities to manipulate raster- or vector-artwork in many ways. but we wonder, what the best way might be to connect it to a database and let these two work together (i.e. when it comes to variables in illustrator)? may one pass the code from a db to ags, that tells ags how to behave (what to to with the template) or are we rather nailed to predefined (maybe by us) routines? what are you using ags for? .. is asking: michael.
