I am using the command altercast to extract comments from PDF like this:
altercast -source someFile.pdf -commands GetCmts.xml -resultLocation E:\

the content of GetCmts.xml is as follow:

<commands resultOverwrite="true">
	<exportComments />
	<saveContent name="fileout.xml" />
</commands>

But the altercast took very long time with no output

I am using Adobe Document Server 6.0 on Windows server 2003
