We're using AGS as a component for creating JPEG thumbs/previews for an asset management application, and we've run up against the limitation that AGS doesn't support CMYK (8 or 16bit) with more than 4 channels (such as alphas). Ignoring changes to workflow to, for instance, not use alphas (not an option), or to switch to using PSD, has anyone come up with a workaround? I'm considering using other tools, either in concert with AGS (stripping the alpha before passing to AGS) or on their own (just skipping AGS entirely), but these will all involve more substantial changes. Any ideas?
