Need help for the following error Exception in thread main java.lang.OutOfMemoryError <<no stack trace available>> We are using Adobe Graphics Server for creating a big poster (24 X 36) at 150 dpi that uses a background image which is about 100 MB in size. We are using the java API to load the images using request.addFile(<<file information>>) before issuing the server.execute(<<request object>>) command. When we execute the equivalent XML commands through the command line, it works fine. How do we get around this error when we are designing the java application? Is there a better way to execute the command using the Java API without actually loading the image file that is giving us the OutOfMemoryError? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Bipin Raj

See the Knowledgebase article on how to increase the memory available to Java at: <http://support.adobe.com/devsup/devsup.nsf/docs/52634.htm> To avoid loading or saving the image through Java: load and save directly from AGS: - Don't use the addFile method - Put the full file path to the file into your loadContent command loadContent source="file:\\\C:\myWork\image.psd - Specify a full path to the save location by adding a resultLocation attribute to the commands tag commands resultLocation="file:\\\C:\myWork\myResults\" A saveContent or saveOptimized will write the file to the resultLocation directory. saveContent name="myFile.psd"
