Special Characters no longer honored (com -> web service)

Hello All,

The old code did the following:

sURL = sURL.Replace("
", Convert.ToChar(13).ToString());
sURL = sURL.Replace(Convert.ToChar(34).ToString(), "%034;");
sURL = sURL.Replace(Convert.ToChar(13).ToString(), "%013;");
sURL = sURL.Replace(Convert.ToChar(39).ToString(), "%039;");

and all is well.

I switched to communicating with ADS via web service, I'm replacing the same characters, but now document server is displaying the characters 'as is' in the text. No more breaks or quotes.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks,
Nathan Rosaaen

Thanks queX, that worked.

What was tripping me up was replacing # characters (as in Apt. #3) last in the com implementation and carrying that over.

I now replace any # chars first, as not to mess up the other values, like &# 34; ...
