I have a set of functionality that I need to complete to build a pdf. I am attempting to create print ready art. I need to take a set of images an manipulate those into a single file. Then export that file as a pdf. I would like to use vector images and use CMYK if possible. Is this possible with AGS? We have already purchased this and use it for other things... but this was it's primary focus. Here is my command.

<commands>
	<loadContent source="Address Plus 1" out="Address Plus 1" />
	<imageSize out="Address Plus 1" width="650" height="509" resolution="300.0dpi" constrainProportions="true" />
	<convertProfile outProfile="sRGB" />

	<loadContent source="Simple Address 1" out="Simple Address 1" />
	<imageSize out="Simple Address 1" width="667" height="79" resolution="300.0dpi" constrainProportions="true" />
	<convertProfile outProfile="sRGB" />

	<loadContent source="Map 1" out="Map 1" />
	<imageSize out="Map 1" width="437" height="433" resolution="300.0dpi" constrainProportions="true" />
	<convertProfile outProfile="sRGB" />

	<loadContent source="Coupon 1" out="Coupon 1" />
	<convertPSToRaster colorSpace="sRGB" />
	<trim />
	<imageSize out="Coupon 1" width="1100" height="563" resolution="300.0dpi" constrainProportions="true" />
	<convertProfile outProfile="sRGB" />

	<loadContent source="Template" />
	<canvasSize width="3300" height="2550" align="left" valign="top" />
	<addLayer name="Address Plus 1Layer" type="pixel" />
		<replacePixels target="/psd/layer[@name='Address Plus 1Layer']" source="Address Plus 1" scalePolicy="doNotEnlarge" />
		<setLayerPosition layer="/psd/layer[@name='Address Plus 1Layer']" x="158" horizontalBase="leftEdge" y="533" verticalBase="topEdge" />
	<addLayer name="Simple Address 1Layer" type="pixel" />

You don't specifically state what the problem is but I'm guessing that it's because convertProfile has the side effect of flattening the PSD.
"This command flattens PSD layers in the image before converting the colors."

Can you convert all the individual pieces to USWebCoatedSWOP as you load them--this would elminate the need for the last convertProfile which is probably what's causing the problem.

Actually, I was wondering if it was possible to do all these operations with vector based graphics. My problem is: 1) We are running out of memory when we bump these images up to what the client wants 2) Black is coming out Gray

I am trying a couple different things and none of them are working. I was hoping someone had a suggestion.

The text you are adding will be vectors. You can improve speed and reduce memory by eliminating unneeded named "out's". Each unique name makes a copy in RAM.

e.g., for Address Plus 1. you only need and want the name'd out in the convertProfile command. Currently you're not using the results of any of the first 4 convertProfiles--that may be the cause of the gray-blacks.

You may be able to save processing time and minimize RAM by adding the layers to your template in Photoshop and then just replacing the text and images in those layers in AGS.
