Hi there, I am using the set command to change the text in SVG. I have as value "Line one.
Line two." However, the result is simply a single line. Is there a way to force a line break? Also, if there is a line break in the text, would there be two span element created in the foreignObject element? Hope you can help. Thanks. Regards, Allan

There could be couple of factors, I would check these: 1. the type of text object in the SVG file. If the file was created in Illustrator, there are two types of text, area text that allows text wrap, or line text that just goes on and on in the same line. 2. Try characters other than
. 3. You can always break a line by putting text into separate span block. This for sure will work.

Hi there, It is a text area I am working with - i:objectType="areaText". I tried \n and \r, and also both at the same time, but get extra widespaces in the final text, instead of line breaks. Any other ways of forcing a line break? I don't think I could just put an extra span block under the flow and p element, as there has to be a corresponding tspan element under text that has the x and y positions. Hope you could help. Thanks! Allan

tspan is created and x and y are calculated by AGS on the fly. You should be able to insert another line by putting extra span into the flow/p/
