Hi there, I am using several high-resolution (300 dpi) image files (TIFFs and EPSs) in my SVG and I convert it to PDF at 300 dpi. The PDF looks great, but when I zoom it to about 500%, I can see that the images have very slight anti-alising for white background - the background I have is dark, so I see very slight white at the edge of the images. I used the commands to prepare the images in the following sequence: 1. applyClipPath 2. trim (basedOn transparency) 3. imageSize I did these to the image in Photoshop and placed the image against a dark background and there is no slight anti-aliasing at all. How can I turn this anti-aliasing off? Hope you can help. Thanks! Allan

Save out the image at various steps in the processing before the convertSVGToPDF and see where the problem first occurs. I ran a convertSVGToPDF on the simple SVG below and the red-against black edges were clean. <?xml version="1.0" standalone="no"?> <svg width="2in" height="2in" version="1.1" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink"> <rect width="600" height="600" fill="black"/> <desc>This graphic links to a solid red external image </desc> <image x="5" y="5" width="600px" height="600px" xlink:href="myImage.psd"> </image> </svg>
