Oz, I understood you were thinking of blocking a second message from the same source for perhaps 30 seconds, regardless of contents. And I understood that what John tested was an internal mechanism that recognized identical postings and did not let them post, which he says works for messages but not for new topics. If I am right and your idea could be implemented, it would at least decrease the number of double topics.
