I posted this on the Acrobat forums not realizing there was forum for the forums...

About a week ago the the forums were down about a day.

After that I have noticed 2 behaviors that I wanted to share with others.

1. If you create your post reply and submit it (I have only found this to be true of reply posts and not new posts) and then need to edit it after your first submit, the original has already been sent out to those who have subscribed to the thread. this creates some confusion in that someone will get an email that is different than what is in the forum. There used to be a delay before it was sent.

2. When you create a new post, subscription does not always 'take'. This does not happen all the time but on some occasions after I have added a topic or made new reply post and then select the box below "Subscribe to this discussion by email". There has been several times where I have waited for answer only to find when I returned to the forum someone had answered but I did not get the email alert. A quick way to check this is to look at the top of thread after submission and see if it says "Change Subscription" if it doesn't you are not.
