I couldn't have said that better. I've heard Frame discounted before because of its handling of validation, with the notion that it doesn't really enforce structure. But I'm a writer, and my first draft is never perfect. Occasionally, I may work in an invalid construction just to get started with something, but I never have any problem keeping things valid in the long run. For hardcore strictness, it almost seems that an authoring program would be inappropriate anyway. Seems more like data entry than writing. Russ
