Hi Russ, Hi Thomas,

Thanks for your inputs, we tried creating a user variable "func" in fm file and imported across all fm files in the book.

We manually give different values for the same user variable in the fm files in the book.

Then on the IOM reference page, we are getting the different marked data with the page number it occurs. Here we also need the the filename without extension for the marked data.

So on the IOM reference page, we gave this format

for one of the marked data
<$func><pagenum>

The output we got was
<$func 1/1 <$func 3/4

If we use the building block $filename in the place where we used <$func we get the filename.

The reason we were thinking of this option was, incase this works, then we could update the uservariable in each file with our api call where we mark the data.

Are we thinking on wrong lines?

Thanks in Advance
