Hello, My workgroup is in the process of going from unstructured to structured FrameMaker. We decided NOT to have a book-level element. Basically, all our writers know what goes into a book, so we didn't see any need to enforce our existing book structure. Instead, we have chapter-level elements, section-level elements and paragraph-level elements. Here's my question. Do I need to structure the table of contents file? Basically, this file is auto-generated, so I'm not sure whether I need to create a chapter-level TOC element. Any arguments "for" or "against" are greatly appreciated. PS - We're eventually going to put our reusable content (probably not our auto-generated files) into an Oracle database in XML format for a content management scenario. Many thanks, - Lisa
