Generated TOC and Book not self-consistent

Using:
WinXP Pro - patched up
Frame 7.0p578 - Structured.

When I update a Book to reload the TOC content, I get Err Log that "Book is not self-consistent". No other data is given, such as Show/Hide Settings, Color Def's, etc - which I have seen before.
Although the example cause given in Helps does not happen to fit my usage, I tried to interpolate the rest of the info to no avail.

What can be doing this?
