Hi,

I need to extract text from FrameMaker documents. I can use, for example,
textItems = F_ApiGetText( docId, fmtId, -1 );

to get a handle to the text under each fmtId.

But when I tried to write this text out to a text file, characters like apostrophe appears to be some strange character.

And when I saved the file into .txt file, FrameMaker can write the special characters without any problem.

How can I do the same with api? Appreciate any help.
