Oh, and I know about F_ApiCheckStatus() and calling it with FV_BadFileName returns '1'. The problem is, I just don't understand why this is failing with a bad file name. The file exists! Is there any possible way to get the API to give me more information as to why the heck this is failing? For what it is worth, I have also used the FDE file path functions to check that the exact same file path does, in fact exist from the point of view of the FDE. I'm baffled. Mark.
